Okay, quick post. Two things.

Leaving on a quick road trip tomorrow. So much to do tonight. Take the dog to the kennel. Clean up the house a bit. Get the key to the neighbors. Iron. Pack. The pre-trip stress is always high. But it's exciting to get in a quick get-away since we may not get another chance until the summer.
Second, I love things like catch-phrases and in-jokes. But you know this. It's one of those obvious things about me. One of my favorite memes is the "new band name" joke, which I use quite frequently, and I love that author John Scalzi created a Tumblr just specifically to catalog his growing list. It's called (appropriately!) "The Name of My Next Band." Check it out. I started a similar list years ago, which included such gems as "Urban Flood" and "The Twinkie Corpses."
Chuck Wendig has a little collaborative project going on right now around the promotion of his upcoming newest book Blackbirds (which looks really cool and I'm looking forward to). It's called "This Is How You Die" and is open for contribution/submission. Mine is "Consumed By Sasquatch", which I'm going to make into a LOLcat style image file. That also sounds like it would make a great band name, doesn't it?
Lastly (aw, hell, this would be four things then...), if you read this post and think to yourself "What the fuckall is a Me-Me??"...you ask, Wiki answers: Internet meme. Not to mention, all your meme needs can be met with either Memebase or Knowyourmeme.

Hm. I think right around, then, yes. I know I started a list, I just didn't date any of them. :)
