I've made to the choice of opting out of NaNoWriMo for another year. I can't commit to the word count obligation. But I am trying my hand a National Blog Posting Month for November (NaBloPoMo), which is promoted by the BlogHer community. The theme for November is Blogging got Blogging's Sake. This is, of course, pretty much what I use my blog for, so this works out nicely. The goal is to post every day of the month, and the purpose is as much to promote your blog as it is to stretch your writing muscles. There is no word count. You just have to find a topic for a post every day. There are literally hundreds of participating blogs listed, and I just added mine to the mix.
Today is Dia de los Muertos, as well as All Saints' Day, and tomorrow is All Souls' Day. I am sadly lacking candy sugar skulls to liven up my morning. I was supposed to have today and tomorrow off but there is so much that I need to get done (yes, I see the irony of typing this post while having a very full to-do list)...and daylight savings time again? Really? :huff:

Welcome to NaBlahBlah 2012!
Hah,thanks! I feel like that should be punctuated by a question mark, but we'll see how this goes. I have a feeling there are going to be posts consisting of just my favorite memes and image macros. Because sometimes I'm LA-zeeee.
Don't be a stranger, lady!
