I'm pretty sure the #1 health effect is most likely "death"...
In other news, I am at the midterm point in the Spring semester. I've turned in a literature paper (earning a 92% on that), a literature quiz (with a 98%), and a lit exam (grade TBD). I've taken a anthropology test (one of three in the term) and gotten a 92%, and presented an outline during a class debate (again, grade TBD). Midterm grades are due this Wednesday, and we'll see how I feel about this endeavor at that point. So far, it's been a little stressful but kind of fun and gratifying. I don't think I'll take any daytime classes again if I can help it, since it takes away from work time. But this experience hasn't been quite as frustrating as I had expected. Again - I'll have a better sense of whether I should continue after midterm grades are posted this week.
On the docket: A lot of catching up on running reports and reconciliation as we ease into the fourth quarter. Where did the year go? Plus I have Excel Pivot table training on Thursday, because my supervisor signed up and then couldn't make it.
I've been rallying for quite some time to get our room reservations system automated - this assigning it to a person business is inefficient as anything. We never get a confirmation from the scheduler, the rooms get overbooked, often they're locked because the person who sets the schedule doesn't notify IT Security that the room will be in use...there really are better ways to go about doing this. The technology exists - we really should be more open to using it.
