Ho-hum and oh bother

I made it home from my vacation in one piece. I left with a hell of a cold, and came back with it, too. I wasn't terribly happy to be coming back, and the workday today just reaffirmed that feeling. I feel like I need a change of environment or pace, but I don't see either one forthcoming. So far I have an A+ in my class, but that's all due to the online assignments. My group presents their first draft of their personal essays next week, so I guess I'd better get on that. I have no idea what to write about, though. I've decided I don't like this class...I just don't look forward to it at all. I've missed two classes (one last week because I was on an airplane at the time, and today's class, because I had a lot of work to do and an awful cough that I didn't want to subject all of those other people to), so I'm stuck with attending the rest of the semester. Bummer. *sigh*

(Vacation was great, by the way. We saw lots of these...)
