With my own two hands
I've been feeling crafty lately, and my mom suggested I check out Etsy, which is an online marketplace of various arts and handicrafts sold by the crafters and artists themselves. The quality and price range from novice and obviously hand made to practically professional and looking storebought (and everything in between). The Laughing Squid recently profiled the site, and it was an interesting behind the scenes glimpse into the merchant's headquarters. I've been thinking of maybe opening my own Etsy shop, just to see if anything would sell. Also a lot of fun is Zazzle, which allows you to make your own merchandise featuring your own artwork and designs, or photographs. Last Christmas Megan made me several magnets from pictures of us with photoshopped captions, which was a really cool gift idea. Zazzle's site even allows you to set up your own online shop to sell things - from pins and shirts to skateboards.
